Mary Ann O'Connor Fehr, founder of Fehr-O'Connor Interiors, grew up in Connecticut and was educated at Maria Regina College. She entered into the fashion industry as a buyer for a large department store in New York. Following her move to California she joined a well-known handbag company and became the vice-president of sales. These twenty years spent in the fashion industry working with top apparel and accessory designers honed her nascent skills and interest in design, color, and fabrications.
It was during this time that Ms Fehr undertook the studs-out renovation of an 1887 Victorian house located in lower Pacific Heights. Not only did she find the challenge of co-coordinating with craftsmen, tradesmen, and designers appealing, she found she was good at it! It was fortuitous that she hired world-renown interior designer, Joszie Meskan, to help with the interior décor. Ms Meskan, impressed with Ms. Fehr's natural talent and "good eye," hired her.
Simultaneously she enrolled at the University of California at Berkeley and graduated in the professional interior architecture program in 2007. By this time, Fehr-O'Connor Interiors was well established in the Bay area with a number of completed projects. Ms Fehr brings with her on every project her long list of contacts, vendors and craftsmen of fabrics, furniture, home furnishings, upholsterers and specialty painters.
Let Fehr-O'Connor Interiors turn your vision into a stunning reality!
